Art, Music and Recreation

Not all of the library's treasures are on shelves. Part of the rare books collection is located in the Oriental Room which once housed the Milwaukee Public Museum's Chinese exhibit. Although the exhibit was removed from the room when the museum moved to its present location, this beautiful mosaic flooring with dragon motif was left behind to the benefit of the library.
