November 22 - Dora and Diego’s Adventure. Enjoy Dora & Diego stories, make a pair of binoculars and follow Dora’s map to find the hidden treasure.
Treats provided.

November 29 - Thanksgiving Storytime. Listen to Thanksgiving stories and help your child create a turkey made from tracings of their hands and feet.

December 6 - Build Your Own Gingerbread House. Hear the Gingerbread Man story and build your own miniature Gingerbread house. Please call 286-3091 to register.

December 13 - Music Extravaganza with Ken Baron. Featuring song, music and dance.

December 20 - Candles Light up the Season. Seasonal stories, songs and fun.

December 27 - Celebrate the New Year by Making Noise! Listen to some noisy stories, create a noisemaker and join in our noisy parade!

January 3 - Major Music for Minors presented by the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Play rhythm instruments, sing, listen, and move to music in this early childhood-focused participatory program.

January 10 - Books that Sing. Enjoy stories featuring songs, sounds and singing. Includes craft.

January 17 - Festival City Symphony presented by Jane Perkins, Education Director. Enjoy a sneak peak of the Symphony's Sunday Concert 'Music by the Pound' featuring music by British composers.

January 24 - Arctic Animals. A hands on presentation by the Milwaukee Public Museum.

January 31 - Brrr...It's Cold Outside! Enjoy the season INSIDE the library with stories, hot chocolate and a craft.

February 7 - Major Music for Minors presented by the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Play rhythm instruments, sing, listen, and move to music in this early childhood-focused participatory program.

February 14 - Valentine Story Time. Enjoy 'lovely' stories and a treat, then make a craft.

February 21 - Sunset Playhouse School for the Arts Bug in a Rug Theatre presents, Love, Ruby Valentine, a play based on a book by Laurie Friedman.

February 28 - Music Extravaganza with Ken Baron. Featuring song, music and dance.

Parking Options for Central Library
There is meter parking around Central Library. Meters are free after 6 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday, however, time limits are enforced at all times. The closest parking lot is on the corner of 8th St. and Wisconsin Ave. The parking lot rate is generally $1 per hour with cheaper evening and weekend rates.
