You've spent countless hours in your workshop or garage designing the perfect invention. You know it's going to be a hit! So what do you do next?

Protecting your original idea with a patent will help you significantly when bringing your product to market. Come learn about the patent application process at MPL!

Central Library is designated as a Patent and Trademark Resource Center by the US Patent and Trademark Office. As such, we provide access to and instruction on searching the US and international patent databases.

In our Patents 101 class, which is held monthly (the next time this coming Thursday, Augst 27th, at noon on the second floor of Central) you will learn how to search the patent databases effectively. This is crucial to proving to the USPTO that your idea is unique and original. The patent application process can be long and expensive, so it is in your best interest to know as much about it as possible.

Some come on down to Central library this coming Thursday for Patents 101. We'll set your feet in the right direction for patent protection!
