Disclaimer by Renee Knight will unsettle you. But you'll like it.

What if you started reading a book and realized it was about you? And then you flip to the front of the book and the disclaimer stating "any resemblance to actual events or persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental," is CROSSED OUT! This is the basis of Renee Knight’s debut novel, Disclaimer.

Told from alternating points of view; the third person view of Catherine Ravenscroft, a documentary filmmaker in London, and the first person view of the man who’s tormenting her. Sound unsettling? You bet.

Catherine recognizes the story and realizes it’s about something that happened many years ago, an awful event that no one, including her husband, is supposed to know about. She also doesn’t know how or where she got the book. As she looks into the book’s publisher and author, her secret threatens to come to light and wreak havoc with her family and life.
