Catalog of U.S. Government Publications

|
|
The Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP) is the finding tool for electronic and print publications from the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the U.S. government. These publications make up the National Bibliography of U.S. Government Publications. The CGP contains descriptive records for historical and current publications and provides direct links to those that are available online. Currently it contains records from July 1976 to the present. The catalog will grow to include records for publications dating back to the late 1800s. Milwaukee Public Library is a full regional depository for federal documents, and owns many of the documents listed in this catalog.

Congressional Bibliographies

This is a comprehensive listing of hearings, prints, and publications printed by Congress, 1983 to the present. Also here are lists of hearings for each Senate committee, printed and unprinted for the 103d and 104th Congresses. There is also a growing list of unprinted hearings. Most of the printed documents are available for reference use at the Central Library. The Milwaukee Public Library is a full Regional Federal Depository Library.

Consolidated Federal Funds Report

Provided and maintained by the U.S. Census Bureau, the Consolidated Federal Funds Report (CFFR) covers all states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. Outlying Areas. These data cover federal expenditures or obligations for the following categories: grants, salaries and wages, procurement contracts, direct payments for individuals, other direct payments, direct loans, guaranteed or insured loans, and insurance. Dollar amounts reported represent either actual expenditures or obligations. CFFR data were obtained from federal government agencies.
