Cooperative Children's Book Center
This is the site for the CCBC at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is a research library for adults with an interest in children's and young adult literature. Contains excellent lists of multicultural titles.

CountyCat is the shared catalog of all the public libraries in Milwaukee County
Free Library Resources
These free databases are provided by Ebsco Information Services and are available to librarians and book lovers alike. Library Reference Center has cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts from over 30 important library trade magazines and journals. NoveList provides book discussion guides as well as a book talk service for teen and children's books. Salem Press provides book reviews that change on a monthly basis.

Provided by EBSCO Information Services, this database indexes more than 600 periodicals, plus books, research reports and proceedings worldwide in the field of library science, as far back as the mid-1960's. The database contains some full articles, and abstracts many others.

SWITCH Libraries
SWITCH is a consortium of eight academic libraries: Alverno College (AC), Cardinal Stritch University (CSU), Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW), Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD), Mount Mary College (MMC), Saint Francis Seminary (SF), Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC), and Sacred Heart School of Theology (SHST). WISCAT is the statewide bibliographic database for Wisconsin. It contains 6.1 million bibliographic records with local holdings statements for 1255 libraries of all types throughout Wisconsin. Wisconsin Heritage Online
This collaborative project aims to bring together the digital collections of various Wisconsin cultural institutions. Wisconsin-themed materials from the University of Wisconsin System, Wisconsin Historical Society and the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee are some of the items joined here. Included are photos, diaries, maps, postcards, newspapers, and sound clips. Wisconsin Historical Society
The Wisconsin Historical Society (formerly the State Historical Society of Wisconsin (SHSW)) preserves historical materials in many forms documenting a wide array of subjects concentrating on collecting and disseminating knowledge of Wisconsin and of the trans-Allegheny West. It serves as the archives of the State of Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Regional Library for the Blind (WRLBPH)
The Wisconsin Regional Library for the Blind & Physically Handicapped (WRLBPH) provides books in disk, tape and Braille formats for Wisconsin residents who are limited in their ability to use traditional print materials. This link allows WRLBPH registered patrons to search for and request materials in the WRLBPH collections.

WorldCat via First Search opens up data on bibliographic information and ownership of printed books, magazines and media belonging to member libraries of the OCLC worldwide cooperative.
