All Milwaukee Public Library locations provide wheelchair access. Enter the Central Library at 709 N. Eighth St. or 813 W. Wells, and the Central Library's Centennial Hall at 733 N. Eighth St.
The Wisconsin Talking Book and Braille Library (WTBBL), part of the Library of Congress National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS) network of cooperating libraries, provides braille and recorded books and playback equipment
for
those Wisconsin residents who for any physical reason cannot read normal
print.
The service is headquartered in the Milwaukee Public Library's Central
Library. It is funded by the Wisconsin Department
of Public Instruction, Division for Libraries and Technology,
and administered
by the Milwaukee Public Library.
