Milwaukee Public Library’s Books2Go—Libros
Para Llevar program is dedicated to supporting
the development of early literacy
skills in our community. This program instills a lifelong love
of
learning, reading and library use in children from birth to age
5, their families and childcare providers.
Vision Statement
Milwaukee Public Library’s Books2Go—Libros Para Llevar
program strives to create a partnership between the library, families,
child care providers, and the community during a child’s first
five years that results in families and caregivers who:
• are
knowledgeable in developing early literacy skills,
• understand the intellectual, emotional, social and physical development
of children,
• seek opportunities to strengthen early learning strategies.
• regularly use the library and community resources. |
