FREE Workshops
Ready to Read with Books2Go - free continuing education workshops for child care providers. Pre-registration required for all workshops. Only those who have registered for the session will be permitted to attend.

Class sizes are limited.

Care givers only; accommodations are not available for children at any
Ready to Read workshop, no exceptions.

Registration for provider workshops will begin one month prior to the event.

Facts Are Fun
Informational and non-fiction books introduce children to important concepts and vocabulary. During this session, you will explore great non-fiction books and how those books can be used to add fun and interest to your classroom. Continuing ed: 1.5 hrs.

Rhymers Will Be Readers
Why is rhyming so important? Rhyming is part of phonological awareness. The best time to help children develop this skill is before they start formal schooling. During this workshop, you will learn how to help children develop this skill through simple activities, games, and music. Continuing ed: 1.5 hrs.
