Make
animal sounds with your toddler or sing “Old MacDonald Had
a Farm.” Some fun sounds are:
Chicken (cluck) | Bird (chirp) | Goose (honk) | Cat (meow) | Lamb (baa) Snake
(hiss) | Pig (oink) | Donkey (hee-haw) | Crow (caw) | Duck (quack) Lion (roar)
| Dog (rruf) | Horse (neigh) | Cow (moo)
Rooster (cock-a-doodle-doo)
Singing should be a part
of your daily routine. Sing together to TV or the radio. Singing
makes time go
by faster; dressing, bathing, waiting in line, and riding in the
car. No matter how good or bad you think your singing voice is your
toddler will think it’s beautiful and love to sing with you! |

Little Cow Eats Grass
This little cow eats grass
This little cow eats hay
This little cow looks over the bridge
This little cow runs away
And this little cow does nothing at all
But lie in the fields all day.
Take Me Out to the Barnyard
Tune: "Take Me Out To The Ball Game"
Take me out to the barnyard
Take me out there right now
Show me the cows, pigs and horses too.
I hear an oink and a neigh and a moo
There are chickens laying their eggs
If they don't lay , it's a shame
Oh, it's one, two, three eggs today,
And I'm glad I came.
Ten Fluffy Chickens
Five eggs and five eggs, that makes ten
(hold up ten fingers)
Sitting on top is Mother Hen
(place one hand on top of the other)
Cackle, cackle, cackle
(clap three times)
What do I see? Ten fluffy chickens.
(hold up ten fingers)
As yellow as can be. |
Tractor Song
Tune: "Wheels on the Bus"
The wheels on the tractor go
round and round, round and round
round and round
The wheels on the tractor go
round and round
All around the farm.
The tractor in the field goes
back and forth, back and forth
back and forth
The tractor in the field goes
back and forth
All around the farm
The
tractor in the field
works all day, works all day
works all day
The tractor in the field
works all day
All around the farm
