This site includes sections on preparing for the job search, and also on doing resumes and cover letters. Plus, under the Teen section, there is a link to Youth Rules, from the Department of Labor on what your rights are as a teenager in finding a job and keeping it, including Federal and State rules governing the hours and type of work that young employees may perform.

What Color is Your Parachute?
This site has supplementary articles for the classic book on how to job hunt successfully. Worth your while are sections on what a resume is and how to build one, and info on sites for things like career and apptitude tests. Check out the latest edition of the book at your library for even more advice.
