A Conversation with Sam Quinones Author of "Dreamland: The True Tale of America's Opiate Epidemic" at Centennial Hall

Sam Quinones is a journalist, storyteller, former LA Times reporter, and author of three acclaimed books including Dreamland: The True Tale of America's Opiate Epidemic, the 2015 National Book Critics Circle Award Winner for general nonfiction.The book chronicles the opiate crisis of a town in Ohio, and how that town came together to address the dependency and work toward economic and social revitalization. Sam will be joined by local guests who will discuss the opiate crisis in Milwaukee.   Presented by the Zilber Family Foundation with support from the Friends of the Milwaukee Public Library.   Books will be available for purchase by Boswell Book Company
