Construction of the new Martin Luther King Branch Library is currently underway, with an expected opening in early 2025.
Martin Luther King Branch, located at 310 W. Locust St., opened in 1971 as the Locust Library. In 1973 the library was re-dedicated in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King.
