Inspiration starts here! Discovery Lunches are one-hour programs that let you explore and connect with fellow learners on your journey to discovery at the Milwaukee Public Library. This talk explores how the Irish in the city engaged in activism to attempt to shape Ireland's future and how organizations in the city today preserve Irish-American culture. Did you know the Irish in Milwaukee shipped flourback to Ireland to help feed the Irish in the Great Hunger? Discover how Milwaukee impacted Ireland throughout the decades.
