Imaginative Play Story Times at the Bay View Library
This Monday, Bay View Library will be having the first of four Imaginative Play Story Times. The library community room will be transformed into a mini pizzeria where, after hearing stories about pizza and restaurant dining, children can learn through play by pretending that they are working and dining in their own little pizzeria.
Many of the pre-reading skills that children need, can be gained through play, so make a pretend pizza, bring a stuffed animal for a check up at the veterinary office, come to the ice cream parlor or shop the aisles of our supermarket. For ages 2 to 6 and their families.
Pizza Parlor: Monday, November 2, 6-7 pm
Veterinary Office: Monday, November 9, 6-7 pm
Ice Cream Parlor: Monday, November 16, 6-7 pm
Grocery Store: Monday, November 23, 6-7 pm
